He Who Began A Good Work…

We are so thankful for how God has blessed and carried our humanitarian efforts here in Israel. Through His grace and the partners that He has brought into our lives, we have been able to achieve more than we ever dreamed possible. One of the core scriptures that has always inspired us to greater heights in our humanitarian efforts, especially during this time of war in Israel can be found in Philippians 1:6 and reads as follows:

“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Not only does this scripture fortify us in our faith that God is in control, and that we are doing the work He has commissioned us with, but we also see from this scripture that He will complete the work that He began in us. Our task here at Home of Jesus the King Church is to pursue the vision that God has given us, to build bridges between Jews and Arabs with Jesus as the cornerstone, as well as to aid the poor from among all peoples in Israel.

At times these responsibilities seem overwhelming, as it requires a vast amount of manpower, planning, and finances, but God remains faithful. He will see it through until the end, just as the scripture above teaches us. It is important not to lose momentum, but to keep pushing for the upward calling in Christ. With that in mind, I would also love to encourage you  keep standing with us through your prayers and support. Every effort of ours for the glory of God here in Israel will bear fruit, especially in these difficult times in Israel.

The number of Jewish and Arab families visiting us now for aid is increasing week by week, and we need you now more than ever before. Together we are sowing into revival in Israel,  and building bridges between Israeli Jews and Arabs, preparing the ground for transformation and the return of the Lord! Hallelujah!
